This fourth incarnation of the Colin McRae Rally series, unlike in the previous three games, has no official WRC team license. All of the cars' liveries are either fictitious or taken from championships other than the WRC. Nicky Grist is replaced by Derek Ringer as the co-driver voice in the game. There are six championships to complete in the game.

Aiming and moving in cover and blind-fire modes is tricky, though. To gain the 3-D effect, some detail gets sacrificed. Usually this is no problem, but occasionally you'll have a tough time recognizing an object. You move from area to area to engage a new group of enemies. You'll conveniently find crates for cover and barrels to help you pull off big explosions. Locking the enemy in your crosshairs, signified by your crosshairs turning red, doesn't guarantee a direct hit? The accuracy depends on the weapon of choice. A shotgun will normally provide a kill on the first shot. If you have an automatic rifle, your shots are relatively inaccurate even if your aim is true.

Ballance

In Ballance, you control a sphere with the simple objective of navigating it to the end of each of the game's 12 linear levels. Expect surreal environments as you transform between three different materials to push boxes, spheres, and other objects to clear a path towards the end. Pre-placed "Transformers" will turn your ball into either Paper, Wood, or Stone, each with their own downsides and advantages. Paper can, for example, use gusts of wind to reach higher elevations, fall slower than the other materials, and get around quickly. Stone may be required to push heavy materials, but, due to its immense weight, will experience different issues when trying to navigate environments. Wood is the neutral material of choice: it rolls reliably and quickly, allowing it to stick to sideways railing while still being able to push objects of a medium density.

Pool Paradise lets players experience playing pool in exotic locations in the South Pacific. There are 30 different computer opponents to compete against as well as 10 different table designs to play on. There are 11 different rule types to compete in and 10 different tournaments to compete in. There are five different modes to play in including Practice, Championship, Tournament, Trick Shots and a series of mini-games such as playing a game of darts on the beach, skee ball with cue balls and even shooting coconuts out of a cannon.

Kasparov Chessmate

The game is backed by grand chessmaster, Garry Kasparov. Players can create a personal profile using their own name, MSN nickname for online/network play, country and a facial icon. Select a side black or white and game type: "Local" against the computer or other human to either no time limit or specified; "Online" via MSN Game Zone or over a computer network; and "Kasparov Chess Club" of 45 club members in a single "exhibition" game versus any member or "championship" to become Club Champion against all members each has different abilities and ratings ranging from Bronze to Gold with "hints" available during play. Actual play has accessible "history" record of all movement, option to "resign" or "draw" a game. The chessboard is viewable in 2D or 3D and styled as Staunton Black & White, Staunton Rosewood or Modern set with notation in algebraic or figurine. Movement is instant or adjustable by a slide for fast or slower paced game. For a novice unfamiliar with Chess, the "training" (tutorial) segment covers basic rules of play to winning.
